The C.Scope YIRSD-33 Duct Sonde is a slimline transmitter which is capable of fitting into thin cable conduits and ducts in order to check for obstructions and blockages. It has a diameter of just 24mm and transmits a 33kHz signal that can be detected by a C.Scope Locatorfrom up to 4.5m away.
Because the C.Scope YIRSD-33 has to be inserted into conduits and ducts, it has been ruggedly constructed to achieve a weatherproof rating of IP68. The composite design (plastic and stainless steel) is also resistant to wear and tear. The Whitworth 16 t.p.i. female thread can fit on standard drain rods which allows it to be moved along underground until an obstruction is found.
Just one AAA battery can power the C.Scope YIRSD-33 for up to 20 hours and it constitutes the ideal accessory for finding blockages in subterranean cable conduits and ducts.
